Project-Level Notification Management

What’s New

You can now customize notifications on a per-project basis, instead of one set of notification preferences applying to every project you’re a contact on.

Previously, turning on a notification type in My Profile applied that notification across all your projects. Now, each project has its own notification settings, giving you and your team more control over what alerts go out—and to whom—on a project-by-project basis.

Where to Find It

Notification settings are now managed in Project Settings , under a new Notifications section.

Your My Profile page is still there, but its role has changed: it now controls how you receive notifications (email, in-app, SMS), while the project’s Contacts tab controls which notifications you receive for that specific project.

What You Can Do

  • Turn individual notification types on or off for a specific project
  • Control notifications for each contact on the project individually
  • Use Enable All / Disable All to quickly manage a notification type across everyone on the project
  • Search and filter your contact list for easier management

Notification types available per project:

  • Missed Inspections
  • Inspection Ready to Sign
  • Upcoming Monthly Inspections
  • Inspection Complete
  • Permit Expiration
  • Pending Inspection Certifications

Access to manage these settings is role-based, so team members only see and control what’s appropriate for their role on the project.

Your Existing Settings Are Preserved

No action is needed on your part. When this update goes live, your current notification preferences from My Profile will automatically carry over to every project where you’re listed as a contact—so you won’t lose any notification coverage during the transition. From that point forward, you can fine-tune notifications per project as needed.

A Couple of Details Worth Knowing

  • If a notification type is turned off for a project, no one will receive that notification for that project—but the underlying user list and settings are preserved, so nothing is lost if you turn it back on later.
  • Saving changes now shows a confirmation, so you’ll always know your updates went through.

Extended “Remember This Device” Duration

What’s New

When you verify your device during multi-factor authentication (MFA), you’ll now stay verified for 14 days before being asked to verify again—up from 7 days previously.

What This Means for You

If you check “Remember this device” during MFA verification, you won’t be prompted to re-verify that device again for two weeks, cutting down on repeat MFA prompts for your regular devices.

Good to Know

  • This update applies automatically—there’s nothing you need to do.
  • If your device is already remembered from a previous verification, that verification will expire on its original schedule. The new 14-day duration applies the next time you verify your device.

Site Map Key Printing Fix

What’s Fixed

When printing site maps for projects with a large number of legend items (BMPs and pollutants combined), the Site Map Key page could cut off items at the bottom of the page instead of continuing onto additional pages.

What This Means for You

Site Map Key pages now automatically flow onto additional pages when there are too many legend items to fit on one page, so all BMPs and pollutants in your legend will appear in the printed output—nothing gets clipped.

Good to Know

  • Projects with shorter legends are unaffected—the key page still prints as a single page as before.
  • Legend items overlaid directly on the map image (rather than the standalone key page) are unchanged.

Project Type Selector

What’s New

We’ve replaced the previous EVP toggle with a new Project Type Selector. When creating a new project, you’ll now choose the project type upfront, which determines which features—inspections, map management, and PDF editing—are available for that project.

Project Types at a Glance

Project Type Inspections Map Management PDF Editing
Full Project In-app Yes Yes
E-SWP None Yes Yes
Inspection Tracking External No No
Inspection Tracking + E-SWP External Yes Yes
Map Only None Yes No
Inspection Tracking + Map External Yes No

What This Means for Existing Projects

No action is needed on your part. Existing projects will automatically be assigned the project type that matches how they’re currently set up—projects previously marked as external will become Inspection Tracking + E-SWP, and all others will become Full Project.

Good to Know

  • Full Projects are locked in: once a Full Project is created, its project type can’t be changed afterward. Other project types remain editable in Project Settings.
  • Notifications are tailored to project type: your Notification Settings will only show notification types that are relevant to that project’s type.
  • View-only project types: for project types without PDF editing (Inspection Tracking, Inspection Tracking + Map, Map Only), PDFs open in view-only mode and annotation tools are unavailable.
  • Cleaner menus: settings and menu options that don’t apply to a given project type (such as PDF Editing or Print Inspections) are automatically hidden for that project.

Inspection Scheduling & Display Fixes

What’s Fixed

  • Missing scheduled inspections: On projects with multiple inspection templates assigned, some scheduled inspections weren’t showing up in the Upcoming Inspections table or the Inspection List, even though they appeared correctly on the dashboard. These now display consistently across all views.
  • Incorrect due dates: Some scheduled inspections were showing a blank due date in the inspection due widget. Due dates now display correctly.
  • Canceled inspections not updating: When a scheduled inspection was canceled, its status wasn’t always updating to reflect the cancellation. Canceled inspections now correctly show as canceled.

What This Means for You

Scheduled inspections will now appear reliably wherever you’re viewing them, with accurate due dates and status, giving you a consistent view whether you’re checking the dashboard, the Inspection List, or Upcoming Inspections.
